Kruse Schiller Motorsport was founded at the beginning of 2008 with the goal to compete in the world-famous Le Mans Series. Kai Kruse and Hardy Schiller both have significant experience in the highest levels of international motor racing and formed this team based upon vision & values which are the framework for all decisions and activities:

Press Release 12th July 2010: KSM cancels start at Portimao

KSM, the LMP2 team form Siegburg, Germany, has announced that their Lola Judd will not be on the grid in Portimao.

Hardy Schiller: "Most regrettably we have to cancel the start in Portugal. The reason is that some of our regular drivers are not available for this date and no suitable alternatives could be found in the meantime. This was a very difficult decision for us, and we tried until the very last moment to go there, that's why this cancellation comes relatively late."

The team is now preparing for the LMS round in Hungary, which will be held in August at the Hungaroring. This race will be a new challenge for all teams, because it is the first time ever that an LMS round will be held there.

13th June 2010: KSM finishes the 24h of Le Mans!

Out of 56 starters, the KSM Lola Judd finished the 24h race in Le Mans in 26th position overall - 10th in its class. A report will follow soon.

2nd March 2010: Shakedown at Mendig Airfield, Germany

The weather was chilly, but at least dry, when KSM did a shakedown at Mendig airfield, a small airstrip not far away from the Nürburgring in Germany. The team did a functional test of all systems and of course of the newly installed Judd DB LMP2 engine. The technicians were quite happy with the results, all systems worked according to expectations and after a couple of hours the KSM crew could return to their workshop in Siegburg. The next step will be the long journey to the south of France, where the team will participate in the official LMS test day at the Paul Ricard High Tech Test Track. Getting track experience and collecting data in Paul Ricard will be even more important than in previous years, because the Paul Ricard HTTT will be the location of the 1st LMS round 2010 in April.

A short video of the shakedown can be viewed on YouTube.
